We are seeking a

Software Developer (C++/Real-Time Systems)

for our software development client, a company with over 30 years of expertise in research and innovation, specializing in the application of advanced hardware and software technologies.
Compensation:

$90,000 - $120,000 annually, with a variable bonus.
Office location:

Gatineau, QC (mandatory in office Wednesdays, free parking).

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop software solutions for real-time systems and analytics.
Architect highly available, scalable real-time data repositories.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle activities based on AGILE principles: design, code, unit test, debug, integrate, and document.
Attend meetings,



report progress, and take technical leadership and ownership of assigned work.

Skills/Qualifications:
Education:

University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Experience:

7+ years of experience in the development of real-time systems.
Technical Skills:

Strong C++ programming experience is required.
Experience with

Socket programming

,

VoIP

,

SIP Protocol

, and telephony is a nice-to-have.
Experience with

IBM RSARTE is a nice-to-have.
Soft Skills:

Independent, positive work ethic, team player, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Languages:

English or French (bilingualism is an asset).
