Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Shift Lead Hand to oversee our evening operations. In this role, you will be a key leader on the floor, ensuring production runs smoothly, food safety and Health and Safety standards are upheld, and team members are supported. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for continuous improvement in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities during the evening shift to meet production targets.
Support team members by providing guidance, training, and mentorship to foster a team-oriented work workplace.
Ensure all processes comply with food safety, quality control standards and safety regulations.
Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
Lead maintenance and sanitation during the shift.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing processes and suggesting enhancements for productivity and quality.

Skills
Experience working in the food industry is preferable.




Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly lines, and quality control standards.
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with different departments and team members.
Commitment to continuous improvement practices and process optimization.
Ability to train.
