Duties
Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
Clearly explain repair recommendations, service options, and costs to customers in an engaging manner
Write detailed service orders, accurately documenting vehicle issues, requested services, and customer instructions
Coordinate with mechanics to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work
Upsell additional services or maintenance based on mechanical knowledge and customer needs to enhance vehicle performance and safety
Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain proper cash handling procedures
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns





Skills
Proven dealership experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes
Mechanical knowledge gained through mechanic experience or related training to confidently discuss vehicle issues
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and positively
Sales aptitude with a focus on upselling services that benefit the customer’s vehicle longevity and safety
Familiarity with automotive parts, repairs, and maintenance procedures
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple service orders efficiently
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure
