Duties
Prepare seafood by cleaning, filleting, and portioning according to product specifications
Operate food processing machinery safely and efficiently, including grinders, slicers, and packaging equipment
Ensure all products are handled in accordance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
Package seafood products accurately for shipment, maintaining proper labeling and documentation
Conduct quality checks throughout the processing stages to identify defects or contamination
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and adhere to sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment




Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and recording product quantities

Qualifications
Prior experience in food processing, meat cutting, or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Knowledge of packaging techniques and manufacturing processes is advantageous
Strong understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
Mechanical knowledge helpful for operating processing equipment safely
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Willingness to learn recent skills related to seafood processing and food safety protocols
