Duties
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students’ emotional, behavioral, and learning needs
Develop individualized support plans tailored to each student’s unique challenges and strengths
Provide counseling sessions to students experiencing emotional difficulties, behavioral issues, or social challenges
Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement classroom strategies that support students’ mental health and learning goals
Collect and analyze data related to student progress, behavior patterns, and intervention outcomes to inform ongoing support strategies
Consult with parents and guardians to discuss assessment results, intervention plans, and ways to reinforce support at home
Maintain detailed records of evaluations, interventions,



and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations

Skills
Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings, especially within faith-based communities
Knowledge of special education principles and accommodations for diverse learning needs
Familiarity with research methods related to child development and mental health interventions
Strong patient care skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with students from wide-ranging backgrounds
Understanding of medical terminology relevant to mental health assessments and interventions
Ability to collect, interpret, and utilize data effectively to track student progress and refine support strategies
Experience working in hospital or healthcare environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in multidisciplinary teams
