Holland Cleaning Solutions, since 1941, is a leading “one-stop”distributor of janitorial and sanitation maintenance supplies, warewashing, laundry and other specialized cleaning equipment for a variety of industries. Serving South Western Ontario, through excellent customer service we have evolved from one location to three local offices, warehouses and repair centres with dedicated, knowledgeable employees to service all customer needs.
Delivery Driver is a permanent, full-time position, from Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Other general duties as required may be assigned, including assisting in the warehouse when deliveries are complete.
Responsibilities
- Daily deliveries within Windsor, Essex County, Lambton and Kent County using a straight truck and/or a cube truck
- Follow delivery routes
- Verifying and ensuring accuracy in shipping and receiving of goods and obtain signatures
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Assist with picking and organizing customer orders
- Completing paperwork
- Adhering to all Company operational policies and procedures, including health and safety
- Completion of other general duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid Class D-Z driver’s license required
- High school graduate preferred
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Driving experience with straight trucks (with or without airbrakes) and cube vans, operating a forklift and a pallet jack an asset
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Experience delivering goods in Windsor, Essex County, Lambton and Kent County an asset
- Ability to read, understand and prepare shipping documents
- Courteous with staff and customers
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Self-motivated, good communicator, dependable and excel in a team setting
