Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to support our operational needs and uphold our company's reputation.

Duties

- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including commercial trucks and vans, to transport freight and goods to designated locations.

- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or heavy equipment when necessary.

- Verify delivery orders for accuracy and completeness before departure.

- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps to ensure timely deliveries.

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks, including automotive repairs if needed.

- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures upon delivery.





- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or delays.

- Adhere to all safety protocols related to freight handling, heavy equipment operation, and commercial driving regulations.

- Assist with warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and freight handling.

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s class 5 license with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving. .

- Ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather conditions and traffic environments.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation.

- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with customers.

- Positive English communication

- Able to lift 50 kg, its furniture deliveries (please do not apply if you cannot lift heavy)

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
