Dental Assistant – Full-Time & Part-Time

Westbrook Dental Group is currently seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team at our Keewatin and St. Mary’s locations.

Must have a valid Level II Dental Assistant certificate.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent patient care, works well in a team setting, and takes pride in maintaining a qualified and welcoming dental practice.

Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, friendly, and patient-focused approach
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Comfortable learning and using dental technology and software; MAXIDENT experience is an asset
Member in good standing with the Manitoba Dental Assistants Association
Available for day, evening, and Saturday shifts
Must be available and reliable to work at both locations: 100 Keewatin Street & 249 St. Mary's Road

Responsibilities




Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
Assist the dentist during procedures, including suctioning and instrument transfer
Perform sterilization and maintain proper infection-control standards
Assist with dental X-rays and laboratory procedures
Maintain clean and organized treatment areas
Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions
Schedule follow-up appointments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
