Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Part time Assistant Teacher to join our energetic educational team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning setting for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love for learning, develop essential skills, and ensure every child's individual needs are met.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while gaining valuable classroom experience. The shift is 3:00pm to 6:00pm/ Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Support children during classroom routines, including meals, rest periods, and transitions between activities
Foster positive interactions with children, encouraging participation and cooperation
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support individual needs and progress
Support children with diverse needs,



including those with disabilities or special requirements
Participate in ongoing training and career development related to early childhood education

Requirements
Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood education settings is preferred
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Passion for teaching and supporting children's growth and development
Knowledge of basic math concepts suitable for early childhood education
Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic setting
