Duties

- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure availability for food preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and work areas to uphold food safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients under supervision
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring proper storage of food items
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices
- Help with trash disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen tidy and compliant




- Support meal service by assisting with setup or cleanup as needed during busy hours

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
