Duties

- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to support daily kitchen operations
- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces, adhering to food safety standards
- Support food service staff by ensuring timely delivery of clean dishes and supplies during busy service hours
- Follow proper food safety protocols when handling ingredients and disposing of waste to prevent contamination
- Restock supplies and ensure all kitchen tools are properly stored after use




- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hygiene and efficiency throughout the kitchen

Experience

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
- Familiarity with basic cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures is highly valued
- Experience in the food industry demonstrates reliability and an understanding of fast-paced service environments
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in cleanliness and safety standards
