Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient environment. The primary role is that of part-time dishwasher with some kitchen cleaning duties and occasional food preparation while always maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food handling environments preferred but not necessary. Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Organize and store ingredients and supplies efficiently for easy access during service
- Support serving staff with setup and cleanup during meal service
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained regularly




- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
- Occasionally assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff

Skills

- Experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments is desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining sanitation standards
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling protocols
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques a bonus but can be taught
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
- Prior experience with hospitality or food service roles is a plus but not required
