Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and ambitious Pharmacy Manager to lead Northmount Pharmacy into its next chapter. Working closely with the ownership team, the Pharmacy Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, support and develop our experienced team, ensure exceptional patient care, and maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

This is an exciting prospect to help revitalize a long-standing community pharmacy and establish Northmount as an innovation leader in the BC compounding and laboratory community. The successful candidate will bring strong clinical and operational leadership, a team-oriented approach, and a genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
Lead and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure efficient and accurate medication dispensing and patient care services
Oversee medication inventory management, including ordering, storage, and documentation to prevent shortages or wastage
Ensure adherence to all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy operations and medication administration
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans, including pediatrics and acute care cases




Educate patients on medication use, potential side effects, and health management strategies to promote informed decision-making
Maintain comprehensive documentation of prescriptions, patient records, and medication logs in accordance with privacy laws
Implement quality assurance protocols to uphold high standards of patient safety and service excellence

Experience
Pharmacy experience within a energetic team
Prior leadership experience as a Pharmacy Manager or similar supervisory role within a healthcare environment is preferred
Compounding experience is preferred
Strong commitment to patient care with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is preferred
