About the Position

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented individual to join our pharmacy team as a part-time cashier. This is a customer-service-focused position that plays an important role in keeping the pharmacy running smoothly.

Responsibilities
Answering and directing telephone calls
Providing friendly and skilled customer service
Processing prescription refill requests
Preparing medications for patient pickup and ensuring they are stored appropriately
Ensuring prescriptions are provided to the correct patient
Contacting patients regarding prescriptions that have not been picked up
Operating and balancing cash tills
Assisting with inventory management and stock organization
Cleaning and maintaining an organized work setting
Assisting with medication deliveries when needed
Supporting pharmacists and pharmacy staff with other day-to-day tasks

Qualifications & Skills
Previous pharmacy, retail,



or customer service experience is an asset
Robust attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a busy environment
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Comfortable handling confidential patient information
Ability to drive and willingness to assist with deliveries is an asset

Pay: From $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
