Duties
Installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fixtures according to schematics and blueprints
Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.




Instruct apprentices
Learn to operate welding equipment and perform basic welding tasks when necessary
Participate in the assembly of plumbing components and systems following safety standards
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner to promote safety and efficiency.
Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
Schedule personnel, tools and equipment
Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size

Pay: $20.00-$35.75 per hour
