247 GARD is looking for reliable and skilled Security Guards for Patient Watch duties at a healthcare location in Alliston, Ontario.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing a professional security presence around patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
Provide patient watch and maintain continuous observation as assigned.
Maintain a professional and calm presence at all times.
Monitor the patient and surrounding area for safety or security concerns.
Report any unusual behaviour, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate hospital/site staff.
Assist with maintaining a safe workplace for patients, staff, and visitors.
Use professional communication and de-escalation techniques when required.
Respond appropriately to security concerns within the scope of training and authority.
Complete incident reports and required documentation.
Follow all site procedures, security policies, and instructions from hospital/site management.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Requirements




Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence – required
Valid First Aid & CPR certification – required
Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred
Experience in a hospital, long-term care, retirement home, shelter, or patient-watch setting is preferred.
Crisis intervention / de-escalation training strongly preferred, such as CPI, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, or equivalent.
Strong communication and observation skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to complete clear and accurate reports.
Skilled appearance and conduct.
