In this energetic role, you'll assist skilled mechanics in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment. Responsibilities
Assist experienced mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment such as Semi trucks
Prepare tools and parts needed for repairs using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
Support the disassembly and assembly of machinery components following technical diagrams and safety protocols
Conduct basic inspections on equipment to identify issues related to mechanical or electrical systems
Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large parts or machinery components
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency during repair processes
Follow safety procedures diligently while working with heavy machinery and power tools
Qualifications
Previous dealership experience or hands-on exposure to heavy equipment maintenance is highly preferred
Basic mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment, automotive repair.
Familiarity with operating or assisting with Semi-trucks
Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, and schematics reading is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
Strong willingness to learn current skills related to mechanical repair and maintenance
Valuable communication skills with a focus on customer service when interacting with team members or clients
