Oversee the financial operations of Alberta’s Technology and Innovation as a Manager in Edmonton. Ensure compliance and internal controls across financial activities while supporting the ministry's goals. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Financial Reporting and Operations to lead financial operations and enhance accountability.

This includes managing capital assets, grant processing, and developing robust financial policies and procedures to support operational efficiency and transparency. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement compliance monitoring practices
- Coordinate internal and external audit responses
- Supervise daily financial operations, including reconciliations
- Review and guide complex financial transactions




- Supervise the capital asset accounting cycle Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field with at least 4 years of leadership experience
- Knowledgeable in financial management frameworks and relevant legislation
- CPA designation considered an asset
- Robust understanding of accounting standards and internal controls
