Full time Temporary (32.5 hours per week) Educational Assistant

The salary range for this position can be found in our current collective agreement.

The Educational Assistant works under the supervision of a certified teacher who retains the responsibility for planning, instruction, supervision and evaluation of the students.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Educational Assistant Diploma with CPR/First Aid preferred
- some experience working with children in an organized setting preferred
- preference will be given to those with NVCI training




- experience working with students who exhibit challenging behaviors is an asset
- ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks, as well as assist with personal care
