Electrical Submittals Designer Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 CAD per year

Job Summary… As an Electrical SubmittalsDesigner you will prepare complete sets of electrical drawings using conventional drafting tools such as AutoCAD Electrical.

Your Responsibilities…

Abilityto handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectivelyinterface withothers inside and outside the Company isrequired.

Preparescomplete sets of electrical drawings

Maintains proper documentation and database changes.

Prepares final drawings and supplementary information necessary to complete assignments, select required information from precedents, manufacturers, catalogs, and technical guides.

Mechanicalknowledgerequiredto prepare mechanical drawings including layout, multipleviews, designdetailsand other related complementary design work to support electrical design.

Interfaces with internal staff as well as customers, agents, or vendorsregardingtechnical issuespertaining toparts, design, usage, specifications, etc.

May perform design workgenerally limitedto complex layout of equipment based on standards and established practices with assignments designed to develop increasing knowledge of product application.

Mayestablishor modify product documentationsystemto simplify and automate the process.

All other dutiesassigned.

Do you qualify… Education: 2-4yearDiploma/Degree/Certificate in Technical field preferred or relevant work experience.

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years preferred; proficient using computer software AutoCADand AutoCADElectrical.
