English Instructors Wanted – Herald Language College Coquitlam
Herald Language College Coquitlam is a well-established language school with a long history in the community, having opened in 2009.
We are currently looking for two part-time English instructors to join our team for our growing international student programs.
Positions Available
- 1 Korean-speaking English Instructor
- 1 Canadian / Local English Instructor
Responsibilities The successful candidates will provide English instruction to:
- International students visiting Canada from Korea for 3-month English study programs during the summer and winter
- International students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Students participating in our English language and cultural programs
We are looking for teachers who are enthusiastic about working with international students and creating a positive, supportive learning setting.
Qualifications
- Strong English communication and teaching skills
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred
- Experience working with international students or young learners is an asset
- Korean-speaking applicants are welcome to apply for the Korean instructor position
- Canadian/local teachers with strong English communication skills are encouraged to apply
Position Details
- Part-time
- Flexible scheduling depending on program and instructor availability
- Compensation: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
- Schedule and teaching hours will be discussed during the interview
