Become a pivotal part of Equinox Gold as the Health and Safety Superintendent at Musselwhite Mine in Northwestern Ontario.

Your role will be instrumental in maintaining safety excellence and compliance across all mining operations. In this position, you are entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating health and safety practices, leading audits, and facilitating safety training. Collaborating closely with management and employees, you will ensure adherence to the Occupational Health & Safety Act while promoting a safe work atmosphere.

Your proactive approach will bolster safety strategies and foster strong partnerships with First Nations. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee risk management and safety training programs
- Conduct regular audits for compliance and improvement




- Advise on occupational health issues and conduct safety meetings
- Manage budgetary considerations for the safety department
- Participate in diverse safety groups and initiatives Requirements:
- Preferred technical diploma, minimum grade 12
- 10 years’ mining operations experience
- 5 years in leadership roles
- Accredited in Underground Supervisory Common Core
