Construction is recruiting Powerline Technician Apprentices for team-oriented fieldwork. Candidates will be involved in maintaining electrical systems and assisting Journeyperson Technicians in various installation duties. This hands-on apprenticeship offers the experience needed while operating line trucks and adhering to industry safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Journeypersons towards certification completion
Maintain and inspect poles, towers, and cabling
Effectively splice and insulate electrical wiring
Open and close switches, install ground devices
Utilize tools for secure and effective energized work Requirements:
Currently enrolled in Ontario Apprenticeship
Must possess a valid Driver's License
Available for various shifts and travel required
Familiarity with safety protocols in the industry
