Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Italian Speaking Home Support Worker to provide exceptional in-home care for clients requiring assistance with daily activities. This role offers an exciting chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and their families. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will deliver personalized support that promotes independence, safety, and well-being within the comfort of clients’ homes.

Fluency in Italian is essential to effectively communicate and build trusting relationships with our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities
Provide personalized patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, mobility, and hygiene routines
Support clients with medication administration and health monitoring to ensure safety and adherence to care plans
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and dietary restrictions are followed
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment
Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
Help clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, using proper safety protocols




Document care activities accurately and communicate any changes in condition to supervising healthcare specialists

Experience
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
Proven background in patient care, senior care, hospice support or working with individuals with disabilities or dementia
Familiarity with caregiving tasks such as medication administration, meal preparation, and light cleaning
Experience supporting clients with mobility challenges or requiring heavy lifting assistance
Solid communication skills in Italian; proficiency in English is advantageous but not mandatory
Knowledge of health and safety standards related to home care services
