Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity.
Support with medication administration according to care plans, ensuring safety and compliance.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences, encouraging healthy eating habits.
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a secure and hygienic setting.
Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversations or activities that promote mental stimulation.
Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, using proper safety protocols.




Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.

Qualifications
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is highly preferred.
Strong background in patient care, senior care, hospice care or working with individuals with disabilities.
Knowledge of dementia care techniques and managing behavioral challenges associated with cognitive decline.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when assisting clients with mobility needs.
Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities.
Capable of meal preparation tailored to specific dietary restrictions or preferences.
Valid certifications in medication administration or relevant healthcare training are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
