Step into the role of Health and Safety Specialist at Agnico Eagle's Detour Lake Mine, specializing in risk management and sustainability practices. Influence the implementation of critical safety and environmental standards. As a member of the Health and Safety Department, you will report to the Health and Safety Superintendent while also working with the Corporate Sustainability Systems Manager.

Your responsibility will include ensuring the effective operation of the Risk Management and Monitoring System, supporting sustainability standards like the Responsible Gold Mining Principles, and conducting site audits. Your insights will drive safety and sustainability initiatives within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation of RMMS across the site




Develop training content on sustainability practices
Review and report on compliance with external standards
Participate in industry workshops and committee meetings
Coordinate risk assessment processes in office Requirements:
Certification in Occupational Health & Safety or Risk Management
At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
Familiarity with risk management standards such as TSM
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
