Candidates should be dedicated to student success, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable with technology.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver engaging, comprehensive courses and keep materials current.Provide students with timely, constructive feedback and submit marks promptly.Deliver classroom and lab instruction using effective strategies to maximize motivation and learning.Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals.Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and maintain skilled, ethical relationships.Ensure compliance with institutional policies and stay current with industry trends to integrate relevant information into the curriculum.Skills & AbilitiesCreative course delivery, energetic teaching,



strong organizational and time‑management skills.Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, and empathy.Proficient with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams.Track record of fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments.QualificationsMinimum 5 years experience in the trade; commercial and industrial experience is an asset.Supervisory experience considered an asset.Asbestos knowledge considered an asset.CompensationSalary commensurate with education and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Classification – Instructor. Compensation range: $69,189.78 – $120,361.23 (based on NASA guidelines).
