In this role, you will direct the activities of Patrol Avalanche Forecasters, supervise field operations and avalanche control measures, and maintain crucial avalanche safety documentation.

Manage daily assignments for the Patrol Forecasting Team
Conduct snowpack analysis and evaluate slope conditions
Develop and guide avalanche control operations
Ensure relevance of Avalanche Safety procedures
Provide training in avalanche search, rescue, and control Requirements:
CAA Level 2 for Operations certification
Five years’ experience with Skilled Ski Patrol
Current blasting ticket and safety certifications
Skilled in general computer usage
Understanding of industry explosives protocols Drive excellence in avalanche safety and support the community as the RED Mountain Avalanche Forecasting Coordinator.
