Join our energetic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in maintaining efficient and safe operations across construction, industrial, or logistics sites. In this energetic position, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to move materials, assist with site preparation, and support ongoing projects. Your expertise will ensure smooth workflows, safety compliance, and timely project completion.

Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as Telehandlers, manitou, skid steers and excavators.
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
Load and unload freight using forklifts and other lifting equipment, adhering to safety protocols
Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material transportation tasks
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure work environment
Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and project timelines
Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation,



maintenance activities, and freight movements

Qualifications
Proven experience operating heavy machinery
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and site safety standards
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs on equipment when necessary
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on role scope
Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Certification in forklift operation or heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
Basic understanding of automotive repair techniques for troubleshooting machinery issues
