This position includes responsibilities such as performing venipuncture and ensuring instrument maintenance, contributing to an exemplary healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities:
Perform blood collection and ECGs accurately
Process and manage specimens effectively
Load specimens into necessary equipment
Maintain laboratory instruments in peak condition
Engage positively with patients to support their care Requirements:
Completion of a recognized lab assistant program
Required MLPAO Certification
Previous hospital lab experience preferred
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including with pediatric patients
