Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insulation + Drywall Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing insulation materials and drywall in recent construction and renovation projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. Your hands-on skills will help create comfortable, energy-productive spaces while supporting the overall progress of our projects.

Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam board, or spray foam according to project specifications
Hang, tape, mud, and finish drywall panels to achieve smooth, professional surfaces ready for painting or finishing
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
Apply caulking around windows, doors, and joints to seal gaps and improve energy efficiency
Assist with carpentry tasks related to framing, trimming, or other structural components as needed
Maintain a clean work area by organizing materials and disposing of debris regularly




Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently throughout each task

Skills
Construction experience with insulation and drywall installation preferred
Knowledge of blueprint reading to understand project specifications
Strong carpentry skills including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately
Experience with construction painting and caulking techniques is a plus
Handyman experience demonstrating versatility in various trades is advantageous
Ability to operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning recent skills
