Responsibilities
Deliver engaging classroom instruction on medical office procedures, including patient intake, appointment scheduling, and medical documentation
Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that simulate real-world healthcare settings
work with ready lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with program standards
Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering a positive learning atmosphere
Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical demonstrations
Collaborate with program coordinators to ensure curriculum relevance and effectiveness
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress in compliance with institutional policies
Skills
Prior teaching experience in a private career college is a mandatory- please do not apply if this skill is not applicable
Proven classroom experience in adult education or vocational training settings
Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage diverse learners effectively
Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly and confidently
Knowledge of medical office procedures, healthcare technology, and medical billing practices

Organizational skills to manage lesson planning, grading, and student records efficiently
