Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, the General Labourer supports daily production operations by performing a variety of tasks, including assembly, shipping and receiving, deburring, and cutting materials. This role is ideal for someone reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a manufacturing workplace.

Responsibilities
Deburr, clean, and prepare machined parts
Perform assembly tasks as required
Receive and ship materials and parts
Cut materials according to drawings and instructions
Move materials and parts within the facility
Maintain stock of supplies and packaging materials
Pick up and deliver parts to suppliers or customers, as required
Assist with basic building and facility and production equipment maintenance tasks
Perform general housekeeping duties in office and factory areas, including recycling, garbage removal, and washroom upkeep




Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Versatile, dependable, and able to multitask
Proactive with a strong willingness to learn
Able to work well in a team setting
Willing to work overtime when required
Valid driver’s license
Forklift certification considered an asset
