Enhance the lives of residents as a part time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) at Extendicare. Engage in goal-oriented nursing care, collaborating with healthcare professionals to meet resident needs. As an RPN reporting to the Director of Care, you will develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans in accordance with regulatory standards.

This role requires strong clinical knowledge and the ability to respond effectively to health emergencies, ensuring quality care within an interdisciplinary team setting. Key Responsibilities:

- Assess resident health and create care/service plans
- Administer medications in compliance with safety protocols
- Educate families on care plans and procedures
- Coordinate resident transfers and move-ins effectively
- Monitor changes in residents' health and respond accordingly Requirements:
- Valid RPN registration in province/state
- Familiarity with long-term care practices preferred
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support required
