As a key member of the Lexus of Calgary team and reporting to the Service Manager, the Automotive Detailer will work alongside a seasoned sales team, delivery and service department, all representing a world-class leader in the automotive industry.Lexus of Calgary is seeking our next great team member to join our team as a Full Time Automotive Detailer at our location in Calgary.Summary:Performs automotive detailing services, installs accessories, applies protective coatings, and decals to vehicles. Ensures all services are completed to dealership and customer standards.Major Responsibilities:Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipmentPolish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body, by handVacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)Prepare vehicles for delivery including full interior and exterior detailOperate automated car wash to remove surface dirt on vehiclesVacuum all interior surfaces, spot-clean textile stains, and clean solid surfacesClean exterior surfaces using cleaners, mechanical buffers and polishing compoundsMaintain inventory of cleaners, compounds and tools to properly and efficiently complete assigned workPerform minor body repair of scratches and blemishes using buffers and/or wet sandersMay be responsible for maintaining an inventory of cleaning suppliesMay assist with local automobile deliveriesPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedInspect vehicle and report any visible defectsApply and remove decalsInspect and reapply vehicle protection productsWe are committed to continuous learning and development.
