Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Learning and Childcare Assistant Director to help lead and support our early childhood education programs. Duties
Assist in managing daily classroom activities, ensuring a secure, engaging, and inclusive workplace for children of various ages and abilities
Support the implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that promote learning through play and exploration with a Reggio inspired approach.
Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on best practices in early childhood education and caregiving
Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and foster strong community relationships




Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies
Assist in maintaining accurate records related to attendance, developmental assessments, and incident reports

Experience
Proven classroom experience working with young children in early childhood settings
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs to support inclusive education
Demonstrated teaching skills with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles
Background in caregiving roles that emphasize nurturing and supporting children's emotional well-being
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a childcare or educational environment is preferred
Knowledge of licensing requirements and health & safety protocols for early learning programs in Saskatchewan.
ECE level 3 preferred

Pay: $19.10-$24.12 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
