The Disability Case

Specialist will play a key role in the Occupational Health, Safety & Wellness department.

Responsibilities include the management of both short- and long-term disability claims, focusing on chronic conditions to enable employees' protected participation at work. You will also contribute to the development of disability management policies and support procedures for return-to-work processes. Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex health-related employee disability claims
Develop and implement transitional return-to-work plans




Adjudicate advantages and maintain claim records
Participate in arbitration and other legal matters
Engage in the Attendance support program Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related health field
At least three years of experience in disability management
Familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Act
Previous experience in unionized healthcare environments
