Shape community engagement as a full time Community Police Office Coordinator in Burnaby. This role focuses on volunteer coordination and effective office support for community policing efforts. As part of the Police Administration unit, your tasks involve recruiting and training volunteers, implementing safety initiatives, and managing relevant records.

You will also work closely with the RCMP Officer in Charge, requiring solid judgment and initiative to improve office systems. Your contributions will help sustain community safety initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Organize and oversee community-based crime prevention initiatives
Manage the recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers
Maintain comprehensive records and documents related to activities




Collaborate with external contacts to solicit funding and support
Provide essential front counter services to the RCMP Requirements:
Completion of Grade 12 with volunteer management experience
Clerical experience in a police detachment is preferred
Knowledge of community needs and volunteer assessment
Solid written and verbal communication capabilities
Valid BC Driver’s Licence and Enhanced RCMP Security Clearance Utilize your organizational skills to enhance community safety and engagement in Burnaby.
