Part-time 0.45 FTE Educational Assistant position - Tuesday/Thursday and the occasional Friday - Working with students in the Kindergarten program - Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year - Duties will include providing assistance to students with diverse needs within an inclusive classroom Qualifications:
Experience working with students with complex needs in a Kindergarten classroom - Ability to formulate solid and healthy relationships - Effective oral and written communication skills - Robust interpersonal skills and a positive personality - Calm and patient approach to solving problems and assisting with co-regulation - Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning setting - Ability to work one-on-one or with a student in an inclusive environment - Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs - Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal care, hygiene, and assisting with meals Please Note:We appreciate the interest of all applicants, but advise that only candidates selected for an interview for this competition will be contacted. .
