Join Sysco as an Experienced Accountant and contribute to our financial operations within foodservice distribution. This role demands expertise in managing accounting processes and compliance. In this position, you will report to the Assistant Controller and oversee the entire accounting cycle, including preparation of financial entries, reconciliations, and monthly reporting.

You will ensure adherence to Sysco's accounting standards and policies while providing support across finance teams. This role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and diligence in financial responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial data and prepare accurate accounting entries
Monitor compliance with accounting standards including SOX
Coordinate bank account reconciliations and corrections
Maintain fixed asset records and reporting
Support finance team project initiatives as needed Requirements:
2+ years in an accounting-related role
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
CPA designation recommended or in progress
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of AS400 system is preferred Utilize your accounting expertise to further Sysco’s mission in foodservice excellence.
