As the Assistant Coordinator - Cultural Development & Public Art with the City of Thunder Bay, you will enable initiatives that enrich public spaces and foster creativity.

Your responsibilities include supporting events, managing art projects, and engaging with community members to create a culturally vibrant setting. Work alongside artists and organizations to implement strategic cultural plans that enhance community identity. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in administering public art projects and competitions
Implement community engagement and event coordination activities




Maintain inventory and organization of art collections
Conduct cultural sector research and analysis
Develop content for online platforms and promotional materials Requirements:
Relevant education in cultural planning or art history
Experience with community arts and administrative tasks
Knowledge of various artistic methodologies and heritage sectors
Excellent research, problem-solving, and project management
