Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load, unload, and secure freight using equipment such as forklifts and heavy machinery when necessary
Verify delivery orders against shipment documentation for accuracy before dispatching or upon receipt
Deliver freight efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely arrival and customer satisfaction
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal performance




Assist with warehouse operations by handling freight movement and operating heavy equipment as needed
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly

Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment in a commercial setting
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot vehicle issues
Solid physical stamina; capable of lifting heavy loads and performing manual tasks regularly
Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
Certifications in forklift operation or heavy equipment operation are advantageous
