We are looking for an experienced driver to work Monday to Friday doing deliveries throughout Manitoba; mainly Winnipeg, Selkirk, Steinbach and the Interlake area. The qualified candidate MUST HAVE THEIR OWN CARGO VAN (ie. FORD TRANSIT, DODGE PROMASTER, MERCEDES SPRINTER) WITH VALID REGISTRATION.

This is an Independent Contractor position that requires the use of your own vehicle and your own smartphone with a 5G data plan. Compensation is paid semi-monthly on the 1st and 16th of every month.

For this role, we are looking for reliable and consistent availability on:

Monday to Friday between 8:00am to 5:00pm

Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
Must own either a Ford Transit, Dodge Promaster, or Mercedes Sprinter
A smartphone with a data plan
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Ability to provide a criminal record check
Must be trainable and coachable
Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate
A positive, can-do, and friendly attitude!

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Must be able to work in a quick-paced setting
Work well under pressure and tight deadlines




Must have excellent problem solving skills and organizational abilities
Must have previous experience in courier, preferably in Winnipeg
Ability to work independently
Must have solid communication skills verbally and mobile messaging

Job Duties:
Organize and load orders in own vehicle
Pick up and deliver orders in a timely fashion
Return all completed paperwork to dispatch team weekly
Pay is commission based (per-delivery)
