Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including hearing tests, and ear examinations to diagnose auditory conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans, recommend hearing devices or assistive listening technologies, and provide fitting and calibration services.
Educate patients and their families about hearing health, treatment options, and device maintenance to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as ENT specialists, CDA's, HIS and primary care providers to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including test results, treatment notes, and patient reports in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Stay current with advancements in audiology technology and best practices through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited program; Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) preferred.
Valid licensure/insurance to practice audiology.
CASLPO Registered.
ADP Registered
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to ear health and audiological procedures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
Demonstrated proficiency in audiological testing equipment and hearing aid fitting software.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Minimum three years experience in a clinical setting.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
