Weld with MIG and stick

Report all damaged goods and/or scrap to supervisor

Understand and carry out written and verbal direction

Maintain equipment under assigned classification

Understand material sizes and specifications of product being worked on

Accurately fill out process sheets and accurately count numbers of pieces completed

Assist new welders if required

Other duties as assigned

Other duties as assigned.

What We Look For

MIG,MCAW,FCAW experience required

Experienced Welders – Manufacturing. Working experience is required, minimum 2 years in preferred.



Apprentices and Journeymen are welcome

Experience with routine maintenance operation preferred

Fabrication experience is an asset

Forklift and crane experience an asset

Heavy steel welding considered an asset

Daytime and evening shifts available

Welding test required

***Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 3 years experience in welding and hold a Journeyman or equivelant

Ability to read and understand shop drawings

Ability to understand verbal and written instructions is required

Must be knowledgeable in the use and operation of all hand power tools

Must be capable of working under minimal supervision and perform all welding functions at an acceptable standard

Must be able to work under a minimum amount of supervision

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
