Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our agile team. In this vital role, you will manage billing processes, ensure accurate financial records, and deliver exceptional customer service to our valued clients. Your proactive approach will help streamline our financial operations and support the clinic’s mission of providing outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities
Review patient charges for accuracy, completeness and compliance
Enter, review and process patient invoices and claims to insurance providers
Verify patient eligibility
Identify, and process claim corrections and voids
Follow up on billing errors and discrepancies
Follow up on rejected or unpaid claims
Assist billing team with billing issues, payment applications, authorizations as required




Maintain up-to-date and accurate billing and claim records in EMR
Communicate with clinic administration, and insurance providers, and Finance team regarding billing inquiries, claim status, and outstanding balances.
Identify and escalate recurring billing or coding issues to Management.
Support month-end and year-end financial processes related to claims and revenue tracking.
Assist with the development and maintenance of billing SOPs and contribute to process improvements and training.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Assist and support operations leadership with clinic administration as required

Qualifications
Robust attention to detail
Ability to perform highly repetitive tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
1 - 2 years experience in a similar role (preferred)

Job Details Type: Full Time / Remote / Hybrid / On Site

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Salary: $40,000 - $45,000

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
