We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will possess solid mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Experience with heavy machinery, industrial equipment, and electrical systems is highly valued. The technician will work with a range of tools and diagnostic schematics to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles and equipment, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic schematics to identify issues accurately
Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures and heavy lifting activities
Document repair procedures and communicate findings effectively to team members and customers
Assist in the assembly or disassembly of vehicle components or industrial equipment when required
Experience
Proven dealership experience or mechanic background preferred
Hands-on experience with automotive repair including engine diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for complex mechanical or electrical systems
Experience working with power tools, hand tools, and specialized maintenance equipment
Prior customer service experience is beneficial for effective communication with clients
Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
