House of McGrath is an upscale restaurant and brewery in the heart of downtown Toronto. Our guests join us for refined dining, house-brewed beer, a considered cocktail and wine program, and private events for some of the city's leading companies. The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join the culinary team at House of McGrath. You will cook on the line every service, execute our menu with precision and consistency, and take real ownership of the quality of every plate you send. This is an excellent role for a chef who loves being on the tools and wants to sharpen their craft in a responsible kitchen.

What You'll Do
Prepare and cook dishes to House of McGrath recipes and presentation standards
Cook to order during busy services while keeping timing, temperature and plating consistent
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering to keep the kitchen well stocked and productive
Uphold food handling, storage and sanitation practices in line with food safety regulations
Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen at all times





What You Bring
Proven cooking experience in a fast-paced, quality-focused restaurant kitchen
Strong technique across preparation, cooking methods and plating, with a good palate
Speed and consistency on the line, and the composure to handle a busy service
Attention to detail and pride in your work
Thorough knowledge of food safety standards; Ontario Food Handler certification, or willingness to obtain it
Adaptable availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
