Job Summary

We are looking for someone with experience to assist in making Japanese and Asian style baked goods.

Duties
Prepare and bake a range of baked goods including cakes, pastries, breads, and buns following established recipes.
Production for cake items such as strawberry shortcake and tofu cheesecake
Decorate danish, donuts, buns and pastries using various techniques
Assist in food preparation tasks like mixing, cooking, portioning, piping and assembling ingredients for choux, tart shells and pastry cream
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks in a quick-paced environment.




Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a protected working setting.Experience
Previous experience working in a bakery or pastry kitchen is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
Knowledge of food industry standards related to baking, food safety, and handling practices.
Skills in cake decorating and food presentation are highly desirable.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in baking and food preparation.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
