Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental team! Current licensure with BCCOHP is required.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all dental tools are ready for procedures
Assist the dentist during examinations, cleanings, restorative treatment, surgeries and other dental treatments
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring safety protocols are followed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management software
Handle administrative duties including scheduling appointments and greeting patients as a friendly dental receptionist
Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication during their visits
Maintain a clean, organized,



and sterile environment adhering to infection control standards

Skills
Certified Dental Assistant with valid BCCOHP licensure
Solid dental assisting techniques, including taking X-rays and preparing materials for treatments
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
